A post just for %% FNAME%%

It's a pretty hectic time for email marketers. The run-up to Christmas is always fraught with last-minute efforts to get those messages into inboxes. The last date for delivery before Christmas is fast approaching (as I've been informed by 17 different companies in the last 2 days). Corners can be cut. Testing can be rushed. Especially when hangovers are more prevalent than usual.

But if you're going to insert your recipient's first name into the subject line, then you really should check that it works before you click the big send button. A misplaced space makes this one a tragic fail.

I'm not naming names. That wouldn't be very festive of me.
